McDonald’s partnered with CAEL to create a mobile app for employees to explore and discover career paths and opportunities, and connects them with information and coaching on the steps needed to reach those goals. McDonald’s desired to become ‘America’s best first job’ by providing best in class benefits for employees while increasing retention, decreasing hiring costs, and identifying potential candidates for advancement.The app was built using Concentrical’s proprietary student engagement platform. By using surveys and interests, users are matched with potential careers.
Our client CAEL , a Strada owned company, is a national nonprofit that works at all levels within the higher education, public and private sectors to make it easier for people to get the education and training they need. CAEL is responding to an RFP from McDonalds to create a mobile app solution that will reveal McD career pathways in addition to highlighting external career opportunities within healthcare, information technology and financial services sectors.
With the potential to reach hundreds of thousands of workers at McDonald’s alone, the app is aimed to help users - identify career opportunities within McDonald’s and featured industries, increase their understanding of education pathways that can move them closer to long-term goals & engage with the employee benefits provided by McDonald’s.
